Summary
This bungalow is thought to date to 1921, and was built as a First World War veterans' home. The road frontage has an ornate wooden porch on twisted columns, the front of which has basrelief carvings of Lord Kitchener in various attitudes.

Bungalow, aligned along road. Southwest gable has J C 1921.
Road frontage has ornate wooden porch on twisted columns, the front with basrelief carvings of Lord Kitchener in various attitudes.
Interesting example of an ex-Great War soldier’s home intended as a memorial to Kitchener.
