Map

No mapped location recorded.

A possible Roman road branching off from known route RR 38 northeastwards towards the coast, suggested by a short stretch of straight modern road between Cawston and Aylsham, air photograph indications between Felmingham and North Walsham, two stretches of relatively straight modern road from North Walsham to Mundesley and Bacton, and the possibility of there being a lost Saxon Shore Fort in the Mundesley/Bacton vicinity (unlikely: D. Gurney 2006).
