Map

December 2004. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated and medieval to post medieval ditches, probably field boundaries, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3060 3452. Three roughly north to south aligned ditches and one west to east ditch are present in this group. These appear to partly conform to the present field pattern and are possibly part of a medieval to post medieval field system. Aligned diagonally to this field system are three northwest to southeast ditches. Two of these, at TG 3058 3452 appear to be parallel and contemporary with one and another. The date of these ditches is clearly different to, and probably earlier than, that of the field system ditches. However, the exact date of these ditches is unknown.
