Pre 1948.
Charles Green (NCM) noted 9 October 1964 a box of Iron Age type misc sherds found in Bronze Age section of NCM stores, some labelled with provenances, others not so. R. R. Clarke's (NCM) card said '1 sherd ?Bronze Age' from Beachamwell only; C. Green (NCM) annotated card and transferred box to Iron Age store.

County number NHER 4537 refers only to the unprovnanced sherds. But A. Gregory (NAU) 1985 examining box found only one sherd marked 'Beachamwell' with no other provenance, this is a finer fabric body sherd, sandy with rounded quartz.
Identified A. Gregory 2 February 1985
E. Rose (NAU) 25 April 1985.
