Map

December 2004. Norfolk NMP.
A cropmark of a possible trackway or bank is visible on aerial photographs (S1). This cropmark is centred on TG 3171 3432. A linear negative cropmark extends for a distance of 80m on a northwest to southeast alignment between TG 3168 3433 and TG 3175 3430. It is possible that this cropmark represents the metalled or compacted surface of a trackway. Alternatively it could be a bank, possibly marking a field boundary. No track or boundary is marked at this location on the 1827 enclosure or 1841 tithe maps for Paston (S2-3). Consequently the date of this feature is uncertain, although it is probably medieval or earlier.
