Map

December 2004. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of field boundaries of probable medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are located at TG 3194 3300. A ditch extends for 60m from south to north before turning east for a further 128m to form an L-shaped field boundary. This cropmark may match field boundaries shown on the 1827 Edingthorpe enclosure map (S2). A 34m long section of ditch cropmark extends towards the southwest from the northwest corner of the L-shape. This ditch is not marked on the enclosure or late maps (S2), but is likely to be of broadly contemporary date. It is probable that these cropmarks are of post medieval date.
