Map

December 2004. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated ditches and banks are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3266 3375. A total of sixteen sections of linear ditch cropmarks are present. Two banks are also visible, one of which flanks one of the ditches. Only two of these ditches, between TG 3266 3348 and TG 3274 3366, appear to correspond to field boundaries marked on the Edingthorpe enclosure map of 1827 (S2). The majority of the other ditches and banks exhibit a variety of roughly northwest to southeast or southwest to northeast alignments. Although it is likely that some, if not all, of these ditches and banks also represent field boundaries their dates are unknown.
