Map

December 2004. Norfolk NMP.
A cropmark of a possible incomplete ring ditch is visible on aerial photographs (S1). This cropmark is located at TG 3314 3352. The ring ditch is sub-circular in plan with a maximum external diameter of 29m. The ditch is less than 1m wide resulting in an internal measurement of 27.5m. The northern side of the ring ditch is not visible as a cropmark, leaving a 23m wide gap in the circuit. It is possible that this ring ditch might be of Bronze Age date and could relate to a round barrow of that period. A linear ditch cropmark, possibly a field boundary, immediately to its north may have been aligned with respect to this monument (NHER 39121). This ring ditch appears to form part of an alignment of ring ditches extending from the southwest (NHER 12778) to the northeast, through (NHER 39132) to a barow cemetery (NHER 6914).
