Summary

Two linear banks, most probably wood banks, are visible on aerial photographs of this area. They are probably post medieval in date. There may well be more banks close by but due to thick tree cover this cannot be determined.

Map

September 2003. Norfolk NMP.
Two linear banks, most probably wood banks, can be seen on 1964 photographs from the Cambridge University. Collection of aerial photographs (S1) and Ordnance Survey aerial photographs from 1968 (S2).
These are most likely to be post medieval in date and there may well be more within this wooded area, however, due to the tree cover this cannot be determined.
The first bank is very clear and runs from TG 1949 4112 to TG 1951 4111 (centred on TG 1950 4111).
The second bank is a little less well defined, but appears to run from TG 1958 4112 to TG 1961 4111 (centre 1960 4112).
See (S1-2).
