Map

September 2003. Norfolk NMP.
A linear bank is visible just to the north of Top Common, East Runton. It can be seen on RAF aerial photographs from 1946 (S1). This feature runs from NGR TG1963 4216 to TG1971 4216 (centre TG1967 4216). It is approximately 79m by 5m in size. Its origin is uncertain; it is possible that it was some former boundary(?) Or was perhaps connected in some way to Runton Old Hall, which lies close by.
This feature no longer survives as it has been built over since 1946.
