Summary

A World War Two pillbox or similar structure is visible set into the cliff face to the east of Doctor's Steps, Cromer. This lies to the east of a group of World War Two defences and pillboxes (NHER 38832-5).

A World War Two pillbox or similar structure is visible set into the cliff face to the east of Doctor's Steps, Cromer. This lies to the east of a group of World War Two defences and pillboxes (NHER 38832 to 5). The structure is centred on TG 2237 4209 and is roughly rectangular with a chamfered profile to the front face, measuring 3m by 2m. This structure is visible on aerial photographs from 1942 (S1), although it is not visible in 1941 (S2) or on later aerial photographs.
