Map

January 2005. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated linear ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred TG 3366 3311. Five sections of linear ditch are present on a roughly northwest to southeast alignment. Two other ditch cropmarks are also visible on southwest to northeast and west to east alignments. One section of northwest to southeast ditch appears to cross the modern line of Bloodslat Lane. Although all but one of these ditches are arranged roughly perpendicular to the present roads, they do not correspond to the post medieval field pattern. It is possible that they relate to field boundaries of an earlier, unknown, date. It is not certain whether some or all of these ditches are related to the possible triple ditched enclosure (NHER 39204).
