Summary

A cropmark of a group of eight undated pits are visible on aerial photographs. These form two parallel lines and have an unknown function. It is possible that they are related to an adajcent World War Two military site (NHER 38999).

A cropmark of a group of undated pits are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3214 3249. A group of eight pits are visible as cropmarks arranged in two roughly parallel west to east lines up to 30m in length. The pits vary in size from 2.5m to 7.5m in length and range from sub-circular to elongated oval in shape. The two alignments are spaced up to 14m apart, with three pits in the northern line and five in the southern. The date and function these pits is unknown, but they could relate to the World War Two military site located immediately to their west (NHER 38999).
