Map

January 2005. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated linear ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3273 3270. Six sections of northwest to southeast aligned linear ditch cropmark are present. These appear to form two parallel alignments from TG 3262 3269 to TG 3277 3259 and TG 3284 3270 to TG 3295 3265. A further section of ditch between TG 3260 3284 and TG 3267 3281 may represent a continuation of the northeastern alignment. These ditches do not relate to the post medieval field pattern and despite having broadly similar alignments they cannot obviously be linked to other fragmentary field systems in the vicinity (NHER 39217, 39212, 39214). Consequently the date and function of these ditches is unknown.
