Map

Originally a flint and brick cottage with thatched roof and with a three-sided apse. Probably dated to about 1800, however some extensions seem to be shown on (S1). Other extensions are later and have partly engulfed the apse. One wall rebuilt in brick in 1940. Said to have been a fish warden's house for a lake shown on (S1) to the south beyond the stream. However it might also have been a lodge for the rectory.
