Summary

This is a mid 16th century house with an early 19th century front range. The rear is timber framed while the front is of brick construction. Reports suggest a silver coin of Charles I was found embedded in a beam of the house.

February 1984. Listed, Grade II.
Mid 16th century house with early 19th century front range. Timber framed rear, brick front. Roof of black glazed pantiles. Two storeys at front with central fluted doorframe. Three bays of sash windows. Hipped roof. Rear range timber framed with gabled roof and offcentre stack but north wall 1941. Rear room retains 16th century spine beam with roll mouldings, triple rolls at base; joists with sunk rolls.
