Map

Former parish church, 19th century, Gothic Revival style.
Closed in 1860s and roof removed. Used as walled garden attached to adjacent school but more recently has contained portakabins.
E. Rose (NLA), 4 January 2005.

This church is not marked on the first edition six inch Ordnance Survey map of 1888 and the area is shown as open fields at that time. It is present on the second edition map dated 1907 placing its construction between these two dates. In view of this it is more likely that it was closed in the 1960s.
J. Albone (NLA), 10 September 2008.

(S1) records that the Church of St Michael and all Angels was erected on a site given by Sir W H B Ffolkes. The funds were voluntarily provided. Mr L F Eagleton was the architect and the late Mr Robert Dye the builder. It was consecrated by the Bishop on 24 June 1901.
A. Cattermole (King's Lynn UAD), 19 June 2019.
