Summary

The earliest phase of construction appears to contain two rooms separated by a timber framed partition, probably dating to around 1600. The next phase, dating to around 1650, sees the addition of a large two-cell timber-framed extension to the west, incorporating a massive axial chimneystack with inglenook fireplaces. In the nineteenth century a two-storey extension was added to the east, along with a later single-storey lean-to at the east end.
