Full Description
February 2005. Norfolk NMP.
A ring ditch cropmark of unknown date is visible on aerial photographs (S1). This cropmark is located at TG 3454 3336. The ring ditch is circular in plan and has a diameter of 10m. It is located on a gentle southeast-facing slope at 6m OD. It is possible that this ring ditch is of Bronze Age date and could relate to a small round barrow. Another round barrow ring ditch cropmark is located 250m to the northwest (NHER 6904). However, it is small in size for a round barrow and could relate to an unknown feature of later date, possibly a stack stand.
