Location

Civil Parish KELLING, NORTH NORFOLK, NORFOLK

Map

2003 to 2004.
Two retouched thermal flakes. Two ‘potlids’, each of which has a short length of steep edge retouch to form a scraper-like tool.
No definite date can be assigned to these but opportunistic use of natural flakes seems to be a late prehistoric practice, i.e. Late Bronze Age or Iron Age.
Identified by P.A. Robins (NCM).
A. Rogerson (NLA), 24 February 2005.
