Summary

Eversley House is now used as a surgery, but it was built in the early 18th century. It was refronted in 1770, refurbished in 1820, and altered around 1980. This two storey building is of red brick with a slate roof, and inside a stick baluster stair of 1820 survives.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House, now part surgery. Early 18th century, refronted c.1770, refurbished c.1820, altered late 20th century. Red brick, slate roof. Exterior: façade of two storeys in five-window range...Doorcase with two fluted pilasters, block entablatures and open dentilled pediment...Gabled roof with internal gable-end stacks north and south. To right of elevation an addition of c.1780: two storeys, two-window range...Hipped roof. Four-panelled door in additional bay to right, set within a timber doorcase. Rear with two-storey early 18th-century cross wing…Interior: stick baluster staircase with ramped handrail, c.1820."
