Full Description
March 2005. Norfolk NMP.
A linear ditch is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1), between TG 4771 1637 and TG 4773 1614. In the absence of other evidence, the possibility that it is a modern agricultural feature, such as a drain, is impossible to discount. It is also possible, however, that it forms an outlying part of the large complex of field systems and trackways, probably of prehistoric to Roman date (NHER 27259), mapped from cropmarks visible to its east.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 16 March 2005.
