Summary

A tall, possibly circular structure is visible on an aerial photograph of the beach at Eccles-on-Sea in 1946. It is possible that this feature formed part of the World War Two defensive structures on the beach and coast in this area. Although this is not certain as the structure cannot be identified on the earlier aerial photographs available for the area (1940), there are other possible military structures in close vicinity (NHER 27326, 27328).
