Inter-tidal survey (Environmental Zone 10), Context 915:
A metal scaffold clip found lying loose on the sand. It would have been part of Second world War beach defences. Material from NHER 36846.
Inter-tidal survey (Environmental Zone 13), Context 128:
A scatter of reinforced concrete fragments was found partly buried by beach shingle between TG 10184 43881 and TG 10187 43880. The material probably came from a Second World War building (NHER 24264).
