Map

March 2003. Norfolk NMP.
A series of cropmarks of pits and linear features can just be determined on OS aerial photographs from 1994 (S1), and NLA aerial photographs from 1977 (S2). These are located towards the corner of the field, and centred around TG 0243 4108. These features are of unknown date and origin. They have not been plotted in detail, only an extent of area has been put around them. This is because these features are fairly indistinct and would therefore have been fairly difficult to plot in detail.
There are further cropmarks visible in this field these take the form of reasonably large, lighter patches/blotches, again of unknown origin. (Also shown by an extent of area centred at TG 0220 4105). Due to their amorphous appearance, it is possible that these are actually connected to the geology, but this is not certain. Further, similar, but fainter, marks can also be seen across the neighbouring fields. (These have not been plotted).
H. Clare (NMP), 15 May 2003.
