Full Description
May 2005. Norfolk NMP.
A World War Two pillbox, probably a Type 22, is visible as an extant structure on aerial photographs (S1), centred at TG 5247 0677. It is one of several such structures to be sited along the quayside; another pillbox, NHER 27361, lies approximately 480m to the north. More recent aerial photographs indicate that since the end of the war the pillbox described here has been demolished.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 19 May 2005.
