Summary

A post medieval brick house of uncertain date, but its position on the edge of a common may indicate an earlier date. The house has been used as a bakery, shop and doctor's surgery.

Former common edge site.
House, used at various times as bakery, shop and doctors surgery; at one time owned by parish of St Giles in Norwich. Brick built, thatch roof replaced by tiles in 1970, staircase tower on west.
North gable wall rebuilt 1975.
No date suggested for original work but the rear rooms and stair turret are suggested as later additions.
