Full Description
January 2005. Desk-based Assessment and Walkover Survey.
Assessment of land on proposed route of Brandon Bypass.
The walkover survey along the Norfolk section of the route identified a series of very large, probable extraction pits along the eastern edge of the A1065. These features may be post-medieval, although they could be evidence of more recent activity.
See report (S1) for further details.
J. Allen (NLA), 31 May 2005. Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 14 July 2015.
