Summary

A Roman brooch, a medieval spindle whorl and post-medieval coins and jettons, found by metal detecting in 2005. A post-medieval coin 'love token' was recovered as a stray find in 2011.

April 2011. Stray find.
Post-medieval silver coin “love token”.
When a hole was drilled through the coin by the late finder in 2012, with the purpose of converting it into a pendant, it was clear that the core was copper alloy and that the piece was counterfeit. This was shown to A. Rogerson.
