Full Description
August 2005. Norfolk NMP.
A group of World War Two air raid shelters is visible on aerial photographs (S1), centred at TG 5255 0721. It consists of up to eight individual shelters, each with a curved or parabolic profile and probably semi sunken, laid side by side. Entrances are visible in the northwestern ends of the shelters, giving onto Row 113 (NHER 22722). More recent aerial photographs and modern maps indicate that the site has been levelled since the end of the war.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 1 August 2005.
