Map

August 2005. Norfolk NMP.
A World War Two air raid shelter is visible as an earth covered structure on aerial photographs (S1), centred at TG 5299 0724. It is a relatively small, probably semi sunken shelter with two entrances retained by concrete or masonry. The entrance at its eastern end appears to be protected by a blast wall. A small structure on the roof of this entrance is probably a ventilation shaft. More recent aerial photographs and modern maps indicate that the site has been levelled since the end of the war.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 2 August 2005.
