Moated site lies in old pasture adjacent to the River Nar. About 50m north to south, 30m west to east. West and east arms are shallow, some 1m wide. South arm 2.5 to 3m wide, 0.75 to 1m deep. This arm containing varied wetland flora. Moat does not hold water. A narrow hollow way (NHER 41953) leads from the southwest corner toward the church (NHER 3942). Other earthworks appear natural.
