Summary

A World War Two pillbox is visible on aerial photographs. The pillbox is hexagonal and is probably a common Type 22. It had been demolished by 1972.

August 2007. Norfolk NMP
A World War Two pillbox is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The pillbox was hexagonal in plan and was probably a common Type 22. It is visible on aerial photographs dating to March 1942 (S2) and was probably constructed around 1940. It had been demolished by June 1972 (S4).
