Full Description
September 2005. Norfolk NMP.
A probable World War Two air raid shelter is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs (S1), centred at TG 5304 0587. It lay in the back garden of 92 Harbord Crescent. The earthwork mound visible on the photographs presumably covered a semi sunken structure, possibly an Anderson shelter or a similar design. It is not visible on more recent aerial photographs of the site and was presumably levelled soon after the end of the war.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 28 September 2005.
