Map

September 2005. Norfolk NMP.
A possible World War Two earthwork gun emplacement is visible on aerial photographs to the south of the dunes at Sea Palling (S1). The circular gun emplacement is located at TG 4308 2732 and measures approximately 12m across. This appears to have a central structure, presumably a gun mounting. This appears to have gone by 1946, although there is a small rectangular structure located nearby. It is possible that this is also military in origin (S2).
