Map

September 2005. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of ditches, probably post medieval drainage ditches, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 4609 1379 and lie just to the west of Ormesby Little Broad. A roughly southsouthwest to northnortheast aligned ditch extends for 170m between TG 4608 1371 and TG 4614 1387. The southern end of this ditch obliquely joins a roughly northnorthwest to southsoutheast aligned ditch.
Two other ditches located on its western side appear to form a triangular enclosure at TG 4612 1382. A further section of northwest to southeast aligned ditch is present at TG 4608 1383. The proximity of these cropmarks to Ormesby Little Broad makes it likely that these ditches had a drainage function and that they are of post medieval date.
