Full Description
September 2005. Norfolk NMP.
A World War Two structure, possibly a pillbox or gun emplacement, is visible on aerial photographs in 1940 and situated on the Delph Hills dunes, Waxham (S1). The structure is centred on TG 4483 2578. The structure measures around 4m across, but the image is too poor to make out the shape confidently. There is an area of worn ground in front of the structure. The structure is possible still present in 1946 (S2), although again it is hard see it clearly.
S. Massey (NMP), 29 September 2005.
