Full Description
September 2005. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of a possible post medieval field boundary are visible on aerial photographs (S1). This cropmark is located at TG 4749 1383. A single linear ditch extends for 194m between TG 4770 1383 to TG 4756 1383. At its eastern end it forms a junction with a curved ditch. This ditch formed a boundary around a quarry that was marked on the first edition 6" Ordnance Survey map (S2). Although these ditches are not marked as boundaries on that map, their relationship to the quarry suggests that they are of post medieval date.
