Summary

The cropmark of a post medieval field boundary is visible on aerial photographs to the west of Mill Lane, Sea Palling. The cropmark corresponds with a boundary marked on the 1839 Palling Tithe map.

The cropmark of a post medieval field boundary is visible on aerial photographs to the west of Mill Lane, Sea Palling (S1). The site is centred on TG 4318 2703 and the ditch runs from TG 4314 2705 to TG 4323 2701. The cropmark corresponds with the line of a boundary marked on the 1839 Palling Tithe map (S2). The boundary has been removed by the time that the Ordnance Survey First edition is surveyed (25 inch, 1902 to 1907) (S3).
