Map

October 2005. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of curvilinear ditches, probably field boundaries of unknown date, are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). These cropmarks are centred on TG 4546 1223 and were previously recorded as part of NHER 21840. A total of six sections of ditch are visible on southwest to northeast and northwest to southeast alignments. These appear to represent field boundaries but lie on a completely different alignment to an Iron Age to Roman or medieval field system that extends across this area. It is only possible to determine the dimensions of one field, which measures 39m by at least 60m. It is likely that these ditches from part of a more extensive field system of unknown date.
