Map

June 2003. Norfolk NMP.rdnance Survey aerial photographs from 1994 (S1). The element of the site is a north to south linear running from TG 1277 4281 to TG 1280 4260, measuring 215m long and up to 2m wide. Several parallel linears are also recorded to the east, the longest being 73m and running from TG 1269 4276 to TG 1270 4268. Also recorded are several perpendicular linears which appear to abut the north to south ditches. These ditches are likely to be field boundaries mostly dating to the post-medieval period, although they be late medieval in origin. To the south of the site is another linear running from TG 1269 4243 to TG 1273 4230. This may be an old extension to the existing field boundary to the north, although the two linears are not quite in alignment. The majority of these field boundaries are likely to be part of the same system of enclosures mapped to the west (NHER 38266).
