Map

June 2003. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks visible of a possible trackway or road visible on Ordnance Survey aerial photographs from 1994 (S1). The trackway is curvilinear, forming a slight S-shape. It consists of a banked or compacted linear, up to 4m wide, flanked on either side by a ditch. The western ditch is up to 2m wide and appears to be wider than its eastern counterpart. The trackway runs for approximately 365m from TG 1274 4296 to TG 1267 4331. To the east of this linear are two perpendicular ditches, most likely field boundaries. It seems likely that these cropmarks date to the medieval to post medieval periods.
S. Massey (NMP), 26 June 2003.
