Full Description
September 2005. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a curvilinear ditch of unknown, but probable pre-medieval date, are visible on aerial photographs within arable land to the north of Lam Bridge, Sea Palling (S1 and S2). This feature is located within an area of possibly late medieval to post medieval date field boundaries and trackways (NHER 42038). Although the relationship is not definite, it seems most likely that the curvilinear ditch pre-dates these features. The site is centred on TG 4329 2563. The ditch is visible in three segments, running for almost 340m in total, from TG 4319 2576 to TG 4344 2556.
