Two possible World War Two bomb craters are visible on 1945 and later aerial photographs (S1), (S2) and (S3). These two craters are located either side of the railway line and are centred on TG 4932 0816. The most definite crater is located to the north of the railway line and is centred on TG 4925 0820. It is sub circular in plan and has a diameter of 12.5m. Surrounding it is an area of upcast soil from the crater. A second possible crater is located to the south of the railway line at TG 4937 0813. It is also sub circular in plan and has a 10m diameter. Both of these possible craters are visible on aerial photographs dating to October 1945 (S1).
