Summary

Earthworks of three rectangular pits, of probable post medieval to modern date, are visible on aerial photographs. They are located on top of a linear flood bank adjacent to a drainage ditch. The function of these pits is unknown.

Earthworks of three rectangular pits, of probable post medieval to modern date, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These earthworks are centred on TG 4777 0689. They are located on top of a linear flood bank adjacent to a drainage ditch. Two small rectangular pits are visible measuring about 2m by 3m. Further to the south is a long pit measuring 2m by 16m. The function of these pits in unknown but their position on the bank suggests that they are of post medieval or modern date.
