Map

April 1983. Listed, Grade II.
17th century, probably a lobby-entrance plan house of one storey and attic, very much altered after a fire in 1953 when chimneystack rebuilt in new place. However, the low end gable wall is of flint and brick and may have replaced part of the timber frame, yet visually seems of the same date as the frame.

Observations made when building under repair indicated that the 1953 reconstruction was more far-reaching than thought and further alterations were made in 1974. Of the original fabric, it now appears the southwest end of the house may be of later date than the remainder.
