Map

Methodist Chapel (Wesleyan) shown on (S1) next to long east-west building with small detached building to west. (S2) shows only the long building. GIS mapping current in 2005 has 'chapel' against the west end of the long building, the smaller building having gone.
The building now consists of a brick cottage at the east end, dating to after c1770, with some flintwork in its north wall and a flat-arched door to the east; and at the west end a flint cottage. No trace of a chapel; was the flint cottage converted from it?
E. Rose (NLA), 25 November 2005.
