Summary

Two steel-framed grandstands that were designed in 1907 by J.W. Cockrill, the Borough of Great Yarmouth architect. They were original built on the South Denes but in 1919 they were moved, along with the racecourse, to North Denes.

Two grandstands designed by J.W. Cockrill, borough architect, in 1907 and erected on South Denes near the Norfolk Pillar. Moved to North Denes with racecourse in 1919 as the architect had foreseen. Important steel framed structures infilled with brick.
