Summary

An area of post medieval field boundaries is visible on aerial photographs, to the north of the Waxham New Cut at Lam Bridge, Sea Palling. These ditches, probably acting as drains, are located within an area of possibly late medieval to post medieval field boundaries and trackways (NHER 42038). The boundaries included within this site appear to post-date NHER 42038 and relate to the later post medieval phase of enclosure and drainage as marked on the 1839 Palling Tithe map.
