Full Description
December 2005. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of ditches, possibly field boundaries, of unknown and post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). These cropmarks are located at TG 4950 0518. A total of nine sections of linear ditch cropmark are present. The longest of these extends for 118m on a slightly curving north to south alignment. It appears to continue the line of the Bradwell and Burgh Castle parish boundary further to the north and it likely to be of medieval to post medieval date. The other short sections of ditch all lie at oblique angles to this ditch and are of an unknown, but possibly earlier, date.
